We know that brass and wood mixes well together so we thought we'd extend the idea and create a lamp with alternating roundels of wood and brass. And it's come out just as we'd hoped. Earthy yet very classy at the same time. Certainly quite contemporary but with lovely old-fashioned manners!

shade description

The name egg and spoon rather demeans the silken beauty and style of these beautiful shades. The achingly cool ikat pattern is printed onto lightweight billowy silk, and then gathered into folds on the shade itself. The result is one of our most perfect shades to date....we love 'em....and hope you concur. (but you see what we mean by egg and spoon?)
