Modelled on the classic oriental ginger jar, that was traditionally used to transport spices, as well as ginger. We love this because of the modern geometric patterns painted on the side, as opposed to the more traditional blue scenes of Chinese pastoral life. Lovely mix of old and new...we're pleased.

A gathered straight empire shade in a beautiful ikat pattern that we think borrows a few ideas from the colours of medieval heraldry - anyway, its rather lovely and it's hand-made from soft natural linen.
