Modelled on the classic oriental ginger jar, that was traditionally used to transport spices, as well as ginger. We love this because of the modern geometric patterns painted on the side, as opposed to the more traditional blue scenes of Chinese pastoral life. Lovely mix of old and new...we're pleased.
