This was a mistake that worked - we picked an offcut of brass from the workshop floor, and lamp-ified it. A few tweaks later, we have one of the most elegant stylish lights around.

A gathered straight empire shade in a beautiful ikat pattern that we think borrows a few ideas from the colours of medieval heraldry - anyway, its rather lovely and it's hand-made from soft natural linen. With a warm cream fabric lining. Class. N.B these shades are now supplied with a reversible gimble so they can be used as a pendant shade as well.
