Check out the amazing interiors put together by top designers 2LG, Pink House and Interior Style Hunter (and they all just happened to feature Pooky lights…)
Last week Olympia London hosted the four-day inspiration-fest that is the House & Garden Festival – and this was our stand:
Thanks to everyone who stopped by to say hello – it was lovely to see you all. In fact, it was a fab show all round – and to cap it all, lil’ol Pooky managed to win the award for Best Stand from a field of over 900 exhibitors! Which was nice.
But that’s enough about us (well, sort of) – we really wanted to show you the Style Rooms - beautiful spaces created by three of the UK’s top style gurus and interiors bloggers. (And it just so happens that all three used some Pooky lights or shades)…
‘the kitchen table’ by 2LG Studio
Exquisitely constructed by 2LG Studio (aka 2 Lovely Gays, aka Jordan Cluroe and Russell Whitehead), the ‘Kitchen Table’ Style Room was a gorgeous, arts & crafts-inspired space. Like all kitchen tables everywhere, it’s multifunctional (as they put it, it has to be an office desk, a children’s play area and an entertaining space all in one); but unlike most kitchen tables, it’s beautiful.
We love the woody tones and calming blues, and the way they’ve used our Verona table lamps painted in Farrow & Ball’s Hague Blue, as well as a fetching trio of Eider pendant lights in recycled green glass with oatmeal lampshades over the table itself. - Unfortunately the Eider pendant lights and oatmeal lampshades are no longer available, but please take a look at our extensive range of pendant lights here and lamp shades here
‘the home hotel’ by the pink house
For her Style Room, Emily Murray of The Pink House aimed to create a ‘small space living room designed to behave like a bar’ – and what a bar it is! We thought her Home Hotel was an absolute triumph. It has all Emily’s usual bold colour style – including dashing wallpaper by Juliet Travers – and some lovely touches like this pink woven basket by Kalinko, sitting next to our Crescent table lamp in white marble, with Straight Empire shade in the temple blue block print. - Unfortunately the Crescent table lamp is no longer available, but please take a look at our extensive range of table lamps here
Pooky also contributed a pair of Coronet floor lamps in aquamarine, which Emily rather brilliantly paired with orange ikat lampshades.
'blue layers bedroom' by interior style hunter
The Style Room created by Grant Pierrus (aka Interior Style Hunter) was a luxurious and very inviting bedroom, layered in rich blues and touches of gold. Grant chose a suitably smart table lamp from the Pooky range for his bedside lights: a pair of brass Trafalgar lamps matched with Straight Empire shades in temple blue block print. Glorious…
