Pooky x Matthew Williamson :  Collection

Pooky has teamed up with award-winning British designer Matthew Williamson to create a brand new collection of decorative lampshades, table lamp, wall lights and chandeliers. 

Lampshades

The shades comprise of 11 vibrant choices, all crackling with colour and personality.   Printed on fine cotton fabrics, the tone ranges from out-and-out boisterous to discreet but discernible hubbub. Available in oodles of different of sizes, you can match the lampshades with Pooky bases, wall fittings and pendants to create your very own unique combinations.

Matthew Williamson comments on designing the collection with Pooky: “Working on this with Pooky has been such a fun project. Picking shapes, designing the fabrics and then imagining how they’ll be used in homes all over the world. Great lighting is a pillar of any beautiful interior. Like accessories to an outfit, it totally transforms a space. All of my rooms at home are filled with interesting lights, and I use them to create little pockets of warmth and colour.”

English Garden Collection 

For the second installment in our collaboration with Matthew we have launched “English Garden”, a 4 peice collection of lights which are full of leafy character, all designed by Matthew Williamson.  Inspired by the beautiful creepers, climbers and flower buds found in quaint English Gardens.

The chandelier, wall lights and table lamp boast intricate detailing of delicately embossed vine leaves, sculpted golden roses and subtly antiqued metal to create a vintage inspired collection – each a sight to behold.

Matthew says ” I’ve always been drawn to vintage floral tole metal lights and wanted to design a range inspired by the technique.  For the range of four lights comprising English, I was keen to retain the charm and nostalgic qualities so often linked to these pieces.  Each has been designed to work in both period and modern schemes alike”.
