The skill that is required to make this beautiful light is quite staggering. Hundreds of tiny, shaped and unique pieces of ox bone, all perfectly positioned - a bit like the man who constructed Salisbury Cathedral from matchsticks...a bit. Using bone to decorate lamps is entirely ethical and sustainable...on a par, perhaps, with leather.
