Start ShoppingHow is it possible that such a thin, diminutive lamp, could shout so loud? Two things: 1. the intricate cane wrapped column...and 2. the cast brass base, which, though simple, is achingly beautiful and powerful. In some ways there isn't much to this lamp, but it's quiet opulence screams out. Brilliant with a silk drum shade in a more pared back environment (it might get drowned if there's too much going on).

The name egg and spoon rather demeans the silken beauty and style of these beautiful shades. The achingly cool ikat pattern is printed onto lightweight billowy silk, and then gathered into folds on the shade itself. The result is one of our most perfect shades to date....we love 'em....and hope you concur. (but you see what we mean by egg and spoon?)
