This flexible little wall-light has got a distinctly ecclesiastical feel to it. Its antecedents of hundreds of years ago would have held aloft a sputtering candle and this descendant retains much of that old charm. It's a lovely little gem and made from great quality and solid brass to make sure it lasts.

We spend hours messing around with lampshades, trying all sorts of new and wondrous materials to see how they transmit light through them. And in our opinion, there isn't much that beats a humble rattan lampshade for casting a beguiling glow. The light pools warmly beneath but it also sneaks out gently through the little gaps in the weave. Beautiful it is, we thinks.
